About Us

Holy Cross Church is a friendly Anglican Church that loves to welcome all who come here, whether you live in the parish or are visitors to Billesley.  We are a church in the community and for the community, committed to loving God, being a sign of God’s love and drawing others to that love.  In bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ we hope that the lives of all will be filled with peace, joy and hope.

Loving and Gracious God,
we give you thanks for the
people of Billesley Common;
a people that are dear to your heart,and whom you have engraved on the palms of your hands. May the love of Christ shine in this Community, and bring peace, joy and hope to the lives of men, women and children.

In your service, may we be ambassadors of Christ, standing firm in faith, of a Living God that walks with us,
and gives us the grace to fulfill
our God-given purpose; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
